My Life in Books Tag

Thanks you so much Tiction @ Fictionally Crazy for tagging me. This tag looks really fun and I’m really excited to be participating in it.

Find a book for each letter of your name:

This is the perfect question to say my quick announcement. So, since I started this blog I’ve been using the name Kate. Kate isn’t my real name it was my pen name. Now that I’ve gotten used to blogging I’ve decided that I’ll be using the short form of my real name, Tess. I’ll use Tess to answer this question.

T: Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

E: The Enchantress Returns (Land of Stories #2) by Chris Colfer

S: Six of Crows Series by Leigh Bardugo

S: The School of Good and Evil Series by Soman Chainani

Pick a book set in your city/country:

I loved The River and the Source as it was a touching and great story.

Pick a book that represents a destination that you would love to travel to:

I’d love to go to Japan and see their culture so I’ll pick Shadows On The Moon by Zoe Marriot

Pick a book with your favorite color on the cover:

One of my favorite colors is purple so I chose The Enchantress Returns by Chris Colfer.

Which book do you have the fondest memories of?

I think I’d say the Dork Diaries Series. My friend lent me the first book and after finishing it I wanted to continue the series, but when I reached the fourth book my reading preferences had already changed and I stopped there. It was a good series though and I enjoyed it.

Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?

Well, I don’t have one yet but I think The Lord of the Rings has been the most difficult book to get into. I usually read the first few pages then leave it then back to it again and the cycle continues.

Which book on your TBR will give you the biggest sense of accomplishment when you finish it?

As I said in the above question Lord of the Rings has been the most difficult to get into, so if I happen to finish the trilogy I think I’d have a sense of accomplishment.

  1. Oooh I haven’t read them but I do recall my friends squealing while reading Dork Diaries when we were younger! Thank you also for tagging me Tess, I may take a while to get to it but I definitely won’t forget. ❀

  2. Ahhh I love this post Tess!! The Land of Stories series was (and still is) one of my all-time favorite MG series, so it makes me happy to see you included it here!! And thank you so much for tagging me 😍 I’m currently rather swamped in tags to catch up on, so I can’t guarantee when I’ll put my own post… but I definitely will at some point!! These questions are just too much fun to miss out on!

    Again, amazing post, Tess!! πŸ’œπŸ’œ

  3. Aah! Nice answers, Tess!😍(it feels really different not to call you Kate, I was in habit of thatπŸ˜‚)
Also, I also started Dork Diaries, tho it was in a very different order, and I ended up reading 5 or 6 and then giving up the booksπŸ˜‚
They were indeed quite nice, if you prefer books like that!

      1. Ha! Imma do one thing, I’d alternatively try to call you Kate and TessπŸ˜‚
Nah, that’d confuse my pea sized brain waaaaaaay too much, Imma call you what I remember your name as at the timeπŸ™‚
And I forgot to mention this important thing last comment….
        THANKS FOR DOING THE TAGπŸ™‚
